I promised my friend Tony I&#39;d take him bass fishing and today was the day. <br />We put in at HBSP at 7:00 am and headed out. We fished mostly water less than 10 ft deep all day. <br />We caught a total of 8 bass and 1 crappie (on a rattle trap). All bass except one caught on worms, either red, black or green and I caught one on a frog in some grass.<br /><br />Water temp 70 or so when we started and 80&#43; when we stopped at 1pm. It was breezy but it did get hot.<br /><br />No big fish today but it was still a great day to be on the water.<br /><br />
