Name kind of says it all. Try smaller sizes instead of Haresears, PT, etc.
Jack Gartside had a bigger one streamer size. That is my Henry's fly along with just about any water. Can't get closer to a leech than this:

Gartsides are just Marabou wrapped on the front of the hook behind the eye, the whole hook is left naked. It ungulates in the water.
Favorite colors are Black and Burnt Orange, Olive and Brown, Black and Purple, Brown and Yellow.
