I looked up Golden Trout on the DWR website and literally copied and pasted the above statement. I don't think they "outed" anything that isn't already quite well known. I'm one of the few that have caught them there recently, and it wasn't out of Echo Lake. While I agree with you brookieguy1 that the limited population up there couldn't handle a ton of pressure, I think the road itself will keep the place from being overrun. Just my 2 cents.
