We should all just appreciate how good we have it here. I've fished steelhead coming out of Lake Erie and its completely normal for someone to come up and fish 10 feet away from you. Went fishing chinooks on the Columbia and boats troll within feet of each other and you can walk across that river with all the boats fishing the same area.
As our population grows its going to put more strain on our limited resources. Lets be courteous but also little patient as well.
If you think someone is getting too close to you, I've found that fishing with your pants down around your knees usually causes them to go elsewhere. It worked wonders on the family that kept dragging their kids on a tube right next to use while we were fishing Jordanelle.
