That is a hilarious and a perfect example. Thanks FG.
Don't think "anus scent" is something I'd dare google in mixed company!
But I'm with Pharti on this one. Don't think you're going to get a "fix" from your rant. But I for one applaud you for trying (must resist urge to use the power of the "edit").
A few slips and blips are to be expected, but there are some glaring ("I don't care to try") type posters, and then there are some that - likely just don't know any better, and more likely - that's they way they really speak.
I blame Utah for some of that. (there is a "T" in words like Layton!!! It's not "Lay-un")[mad][crazy]
Here's three peeves:
[#BF0000]There [/#BF0000]- as in "OVER THERE are some fish"
[#BF0000]Their [/#BF0000]- as in "those are THEIR fish"
[#BF0000]They're[/#BF0000] - as in "THEY ARE going to catch some fish"
I'll admit though, there ARE times I'll intentionally misuse or misspell a wurd. Falls under freedom with speech in my book. [cool]
Maybe all these problems with English will go away when we make Spanish the official US language!!! [shocked]
