Last week we spent five days and four nights on Shoshone Lake in Yellowstone National Park. It was a great trip with a little bit of everything. We canoed, fished, camped, and explored the geyser basin.
I didn't fly fish this time because it is a pain out of the canoe with my son. We just trolled wobblers for the most part. I did use tube jigs with non lead heads some of the time. I love fishing that way, but it was difficult for my son and wife.
This video is a bit long for most people (16 min). I think it might be of interest to those of you who want to see what a canoe/fishing trip to Shoshone Lake is like. If you just want the fishing sections scan through the camping and canoeing.
Hope you enjoy the video.
