My favorite cutbait is bluegill.
I have been fishing for cat on a regular basis around where you are fishing. I have been catching them in the shallows hanging with the carp.
Using worms and cutbait.
Lately there have been groups of ten and more feeding on the surface in the small return irrigation water seams. We catch them by cutbait about 12 inches under a bobber.
