Koke-Fiend is spot on, but if you can't afford a downrigger, lead core is the way to go. We were using 2 Penn downriggers the other day and one lead core, and the lead core bested the dr's combined! You never know. Keep your speed at 1.5-1.7, and.....always look for the trash floating on top. Just like the ocean rip tides, they will frequently be under the trash lines. Not many people know that. Watch and you will see them surface feeding in those areas. The fish aren't staging yet, and thus are still somewhat scattered. Fishing in the narrows and the entrance to them will just get better and better. Nice fish, by the way. Mike
