Tainted Reel Help?

THANK YOU everyone for the imput....as of now the reels and lines are sitting in a nice soapy bath.

I was warned that the soap leaves a film can affect my floating line's ability to float. So is there any product (RainX was suggested but I would rather not use it) that will bring my line back to floating life? If so what brand do you prefer?
