Definitely a Pumpkinseed dude... the red "spec" on the trailing edge of the gill flap is a reliable field mark (as well as the overall coloration). Redear Sunfish have a full red crescent on the trailing edge and a duller overall coloration.

Back in PA we targeted Pumpkinseed heavily during the ice fishing season... to the point where it became a goofy obsession and running joke with my ice junky pals. Sweeter meat than a bluegill IMO.
