EBB, Hey sounds like you did well... We didn't see one over 10" yesterday and they were a mix of both males and females.. about 50-50... The bite was crazy for us, we would go a long time with nothing then pick up 3 or 4 in 10 minutes and we had to keep changing depths from 35 to 60 feet to keep them biting...
If you backed in the right spot the ramp part wasn't too bad, my problem was at the top of the hill just before you got back on the road, I spun out two times before I got over top.. Nothing too critical, just required backing up and trying again and I didn't like all the twists and such on my boat and trailer, but I'd probably do it again if I had time... Definitely not a Willard ramp... See attached... Later J
