How far up are you planning on fishing? All the way up to the Soapstone Rd bridge is peak hopper time now. I like foam hoppers size 8 up there. If you're fishing along highway 150 ( mirror lake highway ) don't start more than a couple hundred yards below where the North Fork of the Provo comes into the main river. Irrigation water is being taken out as usual ( far channel) this time of year and the water is lower below. Much more noticeable this year with the very low water to begin with. If you use nymphs stick with size 8 and 10. I don't really like the typical dries this time of year as frequently you'll have trouble keeping the stunted brookies off. Whenever that's a problem the answer is use a larger fly. There are some descent trout in there, just can't let those small brookies scare them off when hooked or take up all your time.
