Ya just HAD to go bombard us with more deeply colorful and occasionally quite chunky slimers. Is that second one of yours a Brookie?
Truly some nice fish. Tough to face the raised tail of the skunk-beast, and yup - the smell doth linger. . .gnaws at ya even. Kewl that you have your 'go to' spots. Sometimes it really helps to have that psychological reminder that you CAN make it work sometimes, someplaces, some fishses.
