Running the gamut at Newton

I caught the crappie in the same places I caught the perch and the bluegills. I was mainly fishing in 10-15 of water for the perch. Most of the bass I caught casting to the shoreline. I did catch some crappie around the dam but I can't tell you where I was out the other times because to me, the areas I fished were non specific (out from the shoreline). First time on open water there so don't know if there are certain landmarks around the lake.

I wasn't using a fish finder so I typically found the schools of crappie by luck. When I dropped down to the perch I would occasionally catch a crappie higher up in the water column. When I found one, I would catch a bunch in a row.
