Running the gamut at Newton

I made a PVC swivel camera mount that inserts into a scotty rod holder base. It is at an angle so it swings out away from me and has a camera mount at the top. The problem is that if I made it so that it could swing out farhter away from me, it would make the camera sit to high. It works great as long as you don't catch this size of fish.
