Got out for my short day fishing and tried old haunts.<br />On my way to spot 1, I tried a topwater Popr and got a nice feisty smallie.<br /><br />Didn&#39;t have much problem finding crappie.<br />I had 3 whites in a row.<br />After loading up on them here with a crystal shad and a tail light fishing deep, I headed for a fav dock.<br />I had a threadfin shad BG with light working just above the bottom and caught a couple over 12<br />Later I had 2 just under 14!<br />Wow!<br />I haven&#39;t caught many this year like that and I was excited.<br />Later I tried some other docks and some open water sites and caught a good ratio of keepers to TBs.<br />Took the wife after that and she caught a few nice&#39;uns too.<br /><br />Day after, I got a call from Wayne and he wanted some Chick time so we went after the fish in the same way.<br />We started bassing, but no luck so we went straight to the crappie----luck!<br />He starts with a 13 white and he is liking it.<br />When the bite slowed I took him to another spot where I got lucky with 2 well over 13.<br />We went to other spots with one or two here and there.<br />Quit early as the TX and chiggers got out in force emoBang <br /><br />Next day, my partner calls and we went fishing.<br />He was on fire and got us going with one every shot from a dock.<br />We were keeping a few good ones, but to the crappie he added a 2/6 spot and a huge 11 inch bream<br /><br />Then we stopped for a while to help out a feller who was unlucky and lost his prop (Spur)<br />We caught some after that but it got late and you know...chiggers etc.<br /><br />Here are some pics<br />Three fishing reports in one emoLaugh <br />Oh I forgot today&#39;s report<br />Went to the Nick and had fun 49 crappie and 6 LM<br />Deep jigs and Tail Spin and POPR<br />No pics on today<br /><br /> emoCool
