We fish Powell like this we have 2 commercial brackets that hold lanterns over the side of the boat. Tons of Stripers chasing the light. Im sure Wipers have the same primal instinct to chase the light...[/quote]
Instead of lanterns that attract bugs, why not use a floating light? I realize you need a battery for the floating light but that doesn't seem too difficult to bring on a boat. I never looked to see if they are legal here, just something that was really effective fishing in California.
