If any man would become better at catching ol CC the channel catfish, let him study the pages of Catfish Fever, the good book on catfishing. bosshawg and I have learned nearly all we know from it. It has increased the size of channel cats we have caught exponentially. One tip from it is to use natural baits, with oily baitfish like suckers and chubs being prime. We catch nearly all of our big cats on these baits and lovingly call them hillary rodham ( utah sucker ) and mike posner ( utah chub ). But remember release the bigs cats, they grow very slowly and are hard to replace. Cats Ho!
