TD, how do ya know? Dumb question (how do you tell the difference between girls and boys?) but I have never observed any external genitalia on cat fish. Easier to tell during the spawn when the males take on the steel gray color but other than that how do you determin the sex of a cat fish? The males stockier with bigger heads? Coloration? No hooked jaw like some trout have... just wonderin', and thanks in advance for any sex ed info you might offer.
