"Now I will admit, I need to come up with some kind of handle to reach the tilt lever on my motor. Like I said, a bit of a reach."

[cool][#0000ff]Several alternatives...from rigging a pull string to using a simple hooked piece of PVC (what else). The physics are that you only have to pull the little lever forward enough to release the catch and then pull the motor forward to the position you want. As long as you can see to reach it you can use a tool to trip the lever.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I usually just bring my craft into water shallow enough to stand up and then bring the motor end around and take care of the raising for ramping routine. But I can see the advantage of being able to raise the motor if you are in a toon and want to run the nose up on the ramp or beach without having to get out to do it.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I will put my mad scientist alter ego to work on it and see what I can devise for your comfort and convenience.[/#0000ff]
