One of my family and friends favorite ways of preparation is to smoke them. I have made curing marinades and bought them. If you like smoked salmon then you are in for a treat with smoked trout. Plus they stay forever and do not need to be refridgerated so they make great all time snacks, fishing, skiing, watching football whatever you like. I also will grill the trout in foil along with an herb mix called "seafood herb mix" it is a fresh herb mix from Albertsons in the cooler section in the produce. Yummy, so I have been told. Nice report and good looking fish.
