You guys are killing me. Not only did you have a bang up smack down fishing venture, but then ya gotta rub salt in it with the smoked fish! (maybe some sugar and spice too!)
All this talk got me worked up enough to take a drive up Friday after work. Poked along the west shore, working south. Water was glass calm, but no love on the line.
Shoreline was so shallow, just don't think I got out far enough. Had I donned the waiders and given chase, but it was cold, windy, and getting dark fast.
Judging by your photos - I think I was just on the wrong side of the reeds. No bendo that trip.
I trust ya kept your radio volume in check while out in a boat?
