That is kind of a grey area. Where she is actually reeling in and catching, and you are only doing the baiting.... hmmm.
It is illegal to "fish" with too many poles..... The lines must be "tended" by the person fishing.
So which part constitutes fishing and tending? The baiting of the hook, or the reeling in? Or does a person have to do each for themselves? My guess would be both, but at least the reeling in...that is the catching. Especially if you were helping a child. But they might get picky about it on an adult. I really don't know. Might depend on the day and the mood!
