If you want to keep a limit, and have a lot of fishing time left. What you can do is just keep one fish short of the limit. That way if you get a bleeder you can keep it. Hopefully the catching stays good and you can add that last fish to your limit late in the day.

Even in catch and release there are moralities. Unfortunate, but sometimes unavoidable.
