the word is NO SAFE ICE.

we have anywhere from a crust over to 4 inches at best.

that said,

I ventured out on a few shallow lakes where if I went though I could stand up to keep my head out of water.

I did manage a few gills, and three pike, one 23 inch one on fryday 29 inch on sunday and one 38 inch that went 15 lbs for saturday.

have to show off my new fishing sled, yah I need a wheelbarowl to haul my catch off the ice.[:p]

I did not take a photo of the 23in.
