A 2 man that has the sled built in it will be excellant for 2 guys. It might not be big enough if you are a perch nut like me and have another perch nut with ya cause then you have to have 3 holes one for the vexlar and your buddy has the same. But if you are thinking of the 2 seat sledded tents it would be excellant for you and your dad with one pole a piece. Cause you could still have the heater between your holes and all your gear would stay in the sled behind you. Let me know if you have any more questions.
