Last week when I went. I was the only one that had balls too go into that slushy heaven to hit the north island and walk 30 ft out till a few ft from me was just thin 1/2" ice but I drilled a few ft away from it and it was 5-9" and caught only 2 bows all day as well I moved in the morning around the lake while people gave me the crazy eyes because I've spend more time drilling then fishing that day. Hope we can find the magical 40+ feet next week because the perches are screaming in my ears out there.

Thanks for the note. Well good luck on the ice because I'm sticking with utah lake this week and maybe my cutty condo if its all iced up again. Sucks when your good spot opens up in the middle of the season.
