Yay or Nay on HB141

I am fortunate that I get to talk to my senator (Wayne Harper) fairly regularly as he also works for T-Ville and I see him at City Council meetings, etc. In an email I sent him last week he basically said that he's not sure what McKiff's trying to do because he hasn't had a chance to really look at it. Harper was against HB141 last time around when he was in the House, but I couldn't get him to commit to anything this time around. He gave me the old, "I need to see all of the information before I give you an answer." Damn, that's a good answer, and even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear, it is how I expect my elected officials to do things.

IMO, I'd bet he'll be against it again. I didn't hear back from anyone else I emailed. Typical.
