Weather and Fishing
#2
how do I use Weather in fishing,

let me think for a second,

[ol][li]Weather or not to go fishing today depends on what house chores I want to get out of doing today.[/li][li]Weather or not to go to work today[/li][li]Weather it is better to go fishing or to the wifes girlfriends baby shower[/li][li]Weather to fish next to a no fishing allowed sighn because you know the fishing must be good there.[/li][li]Weather or not to go fishing or go shopping for more fishing stuff[/li][li]Weather or not to go fishing or sit around with my buddies having a beer and talking about going fishing.[/li][li]Weather to go fishing for bass, trout, pike, gills, crappies, stergeon, catfish......[/li][/ol]with out a doubt weather plays a big roll in how I go fishing. if I get enough cold weather I go ice fishing, if enough worm I cast out the boat, if it is in transition I target suckers trout or salmon.

there is a different species of fish for every kind of weather.

I do how ever tend to stay away from tornados and lightning somewhat but have been seen fishing during electrical storms and found the bite quite static. But I highly recomend you dont try it.. [:p]

I say get to know the species you are targeting, some will do better on high presure days while others like low presure. some like transitional presure.

as a rule some say it is best for fish in front of the front while others say fish after the front has past..

I guess what you realy have to ask your self is, are you going fishing to catch fish or to relax and if dinner happens by more the better.

truth of the matter is, I fish only by the weather condition, that is weather or not I want to go fishing today. the answer is usualy yes regardless to what the weather is out side... They say for every hour a man spends fishing he adds a day to his life span, well son, it looks like I will live for ever.[angelic]
