Soldier Creek 2/7
#3
Couldn't have been too hard packed as we saw a 4x4 white pickup truck sunk to its axels with all kinds of guys and their snow sleds standing around looking at it when we drove by heading home from Starvation about 2:30. I guess some guys never learn. Makes me wonder if they are still there tonight or if they got out. I have a hard time with being patient with those guys. They tear up the road making it very difficult for the atv's and sleds to get around. My friend was taking my wife back to the truck at the parking area 2 weeks ago and hit the ruts that someone else left when they got stuck. His sled tipped over and my wife hurt her hip and hit her head as they went over. It was a good thing she was wearing a helmet. No... they were not driving fast. But, this is a discussion for another thread.

My experience is the shallower water is where the bows hang out and the cutts are in the deeper water. We probably catch 5 to 1 or more bows to cutts when we fish that area.
