I try to get as close as possible also... within reason. But when the snow is deep like it is now, it makes no sense to me to tear up the trails. Especially when it presents a hazard to others or blocks the road. But sometimes ignorance is bliss in that you don't know the conditions until it is too late. Other times it is an "ego" trip to "test" your trucks ability. In this case with this winter, as much snow as has fallen, especially after the recent nights storm, in my mind it is foolishness. Potatoe...Potato... just one mans opinion. Do what you want... you will anyway... and I will think what I want. Hopefully if either of us gets into trouble and needs help, the other will overlook the oversight, stupidity, foolishness, selfishness or what ever the reason and be willing to lend the other a helping hand.
