50 fish day at Bear Lake

They are usually not too many hanging out post spawn which is definitely what I would call today on. I fished it a few times this weekend and almost every female caught was completely spawned out. As for fishing the Marina. I have found that a few odd fish hang out clear through the whitefish spawn coming up and most are aggressive. Just don't expect to see large numbers. If you are going out on the pontoon be carefull since the wind usually blows you toward the east shore which is a long ways off. I can say from experience. I can only imagine what it would be like this time of year.
