I know this is an old thread but I thought I would bring it back to life in case there is anyone still looking for ideas. I just found this site after it was mentioned on another forum that I am a member of in San Diego (SDFish.com).
I thought I was the first to figure out a perfect mount for the Fishin' Buddy but it looks like there are a few great minds here! lol
Anyways, here is what I have attached to my Cumberland tube:
I made a rack that I use with my Fishin' Buddy 120. ***I am going to cut the 45° tubes off and reconfigure it with 90° holders. The 45° tubes tend to get caught up on the tullies when I'm getting in and out of the lake through the tullie cuts and when I am flipping the tullies.
For the FB, I just got a 2" to 1 1/2" reducer and then added on the 2" pipe and "T" with a 3" to 2" rubber reducer at the top to hold the FB. I also cut about 18" of foam tube wrap and put that around the transducer pole, which keeps the FB from wobbling around.
