Hey slimmer, it was good to meet you on Starv. The video was posted by BIGbites (my 14 year old). It was definately a timing thing. This video was taken at noon on Saturday. Yesterday (Monday) when I met you, as you know the perch were very willing to hit a Kastmaster and perch eye earlier in the morning, but by about 11am the bite slowed way down and they were back to blowing kisses at the jig instead of attacking it. I caught 21 in about two hours. I think 15 of those came in the first half hour. Not as fast as other areas of the lake. I plan to post up the video of hungry Starvation perch in another thread.
MrRojoneck and others thanks for the complements on the video. It is just a raw clip (no editing). When I get more time (after ice fishing season) I plan to do some editing of the clips we have taken at various lakes during the season and post to the forum.
Bowhunter, we have put the camera down to about 40' at the Gorge looking at structure for burbot fishing in the late afternoon and the camera performed very well. We could see good detail even though the water at the Gorge is murkier. We even got some footage of a pup laker playing with the tube jig for 5 minutes and a burbot being caught.
