Starvation Perch Video part 2 - Feb 25

Thanks for sharing this video, it gets me all worked up to go perchin. I'm planning on this weekend, any tips on location as I've never been to starvation due to the distance I have to travel. Figured once over there won't hurt me but would like to be able to fish in a productive area. Some reports are of people fishing in 45 feet of water and some in 28 feet, is there a preference you have and for what reason. Thanks for any help.
