If it is harmless, why not put it on your food? Or put it in your fish tank and see how your fish at home like it. I bet they will love it too[sly]
Like I said all along, the joke is on you if you use WD-40. We could probably argue back and forth about the legality of it (I am still 100% positive it is illegal - if you contact the right people on this I am sure the case will rest). The bottom line is that fish are not attracted to it. You can't say they are attracted to it, because they ate a bait with it on there... that is not proof of anything. Fish are attracted to natural food sources... there is nothing natural about WD-40 and it is not a food source!
