Bottom bouncing soft bottom

The Custom Sports is a great idea. I'm using the long wire to keep me out of the snags, but I'll bet on Cutler I could use the short ones and feel the bottom better. I have tried BB the river and reservoir, but been trying the canyon lately. No luck so far, but I keep hoping i'll get the recipe right. Keep expecting the Cutler fish to act like Willard and so far it's not the case. Guess I just want to be able to troll and catch them instead of bait fish. Next trip out I plan on using a combination of the above suggestions to get my BB working right. I found last year when I had my lure in the right spot I was catching fish and if it was too high or too much line out, I didn't get the bites. Later J
