ah, bowan reservoir. brings back a lovely memory.
In 1999, my friend wanted to go down there because he heard of the great bass fishing. So we drove my Bronco II down to the waters edge.
What I didn't know is they had dropped the water level 15' for repairs on something. I ended up burying my Bronco II up to the wheel wells. Luckily I walked up to someone's house and they were extremely nice and let me use there phone to call a tow truck. When the tow truck got there the story got even better.
The tow truck got setup side ways and we were able to pull my truck out. But, when the tow truck tried to leave he had to backup first and he ended up getting stuck. He had to call another tow truck to come get him out. I felt so bad for the driver.
Bowman was a great place if Lake Mead was ruff. You could always go to bowman because it was protected from the wind.
Sucks when people ruin everyone else fun.
