Fly Lines R U Using ?

I think you got a bad batch...it happens. I have gold and have had for 5 years. Looks great. BUT my Deep 7 line is another story. I had it for a couple years and used it very little at that time. I was at the Uinta's last year and I cast out about 30 feet. I noticed what looked like mono stuck to the side. I let out a little more line and then lifted the rod to to get to that piece of mono. The line had separated. About 3 feet worth. I called Rio and told them, they told me to tag it, box it up and send it back. Two weeks later I had brand new Deep 7.
