Ok I'm just going to throw this out there.
I've got a renewed love affair with fly fishing, but I suck at it. Would anyone be interested in giving some pointers in person?
I'll take you to the spots I know, I'll buy the drinks, lunch, whatever.
I know there's plenty of videos and tutorials on the interweb, but I learn much better when my instructor has a pulse.
I know sometimes folks don't want to disclose "privelaged information." That's why I'm offering to take you to the spots I know to hold fish. You scratch my back, I scratch yours type of thing.
I would love some help with technique, reading the river, matching hatches... just basic stuff.
Any help would be awesome.
