[font "Comic Sans MS"][size 3]The only access to the rock pile is from Ideal Beach Condos. You have to pay a buck per person to get past the gate. All the property on Gus' Point is private and water front access is not available. You also have free access at the old Spinaker Marina, south of Gus' Point. A lot of guys launch smaller aluminum boats from the sandy beach there. You always see trucks with empty trailers there. That's not a place you want to access with a pontoon boat.[/size][/font]

The winds come from the southwest aand blow across the lake giving the waves a little chance to build up. It's great on a calm day though. Also consider First and Second Points on the southern east side for access. These are other areas it drops off quick to good depth 100 yards or less from shoreline.[/size][/font]
