Thank you for all the suggestions. After all that, work decided to override my fishing plans at the last minute and everything fell through. Maybe this next week. I should have clarified that my dad can walk short distances and do stairs, but is limited in mobility.
I like hitting the community ponds every now and again but I think my dad would find them a little emasculating. I might as well bait, cast and set the hook for him. It's not his thing. That's the biggest issue. He wants to do all that he can and still consider it fishing. I might try to get him up to starvation. There are some areas near rabbit gulch that are relatively accessible.
