SHAD?

Forgot to post on my quick fishing trip. Was back in the wash by grey light and looked and threw blind for shad in a bunch of my favorite places without anything. Talked to a couple guides who were searching frantically as well with no luck. Was a little breezy that morning and a cold front coming in that could of affected them but they could just be at the end of there run as well. Anyway after an hour of looking for shad I gave up and decided to go and try and graph some strippers and chum till they come. Went to one of my favorite places in govt wash to fish only to find two guides already in my spot, I traveled back towards 33 hole and found some fish between the boulder and the point of 33 hole. Fished for a couple of hours before the wind chased me off. Only caught 4 but all of good size each close to 3-4 pds and very fat. When I went to clean them I found out why so fat, each of them full of corn, about a half can apiece in each of them. Wasn't what I was using for chum but somebody of the shore must of been. anyway all in all a good trip but looking foreward to days without the las vegas spring winds.
