and that is why i am a huge advocate of always fishing with at the least glasses on. When we toss big stuff there is a reason we nickname it chuckin n duckin.
As far as line I am partial to RIO Gold myself. With the coloring of it you can get an idea of exactly what you need to have out to load your rod up. I can double haul that stuff and shoot it farther than any other line I have thrown to this point. With the wind, like FG said you need to usually side arm it more I also tend to roll cast a lot more when the breeze is blowing as it keeps the line fairly low.
