Lance and I planned to fish shallow all day and did for the most part. Started out throwing top water and got a small limit in about 15 minutes. Then went to flipping and pitching. Lance struck gold when he put the smack down on a 10lb blue cat in about 2 ft of water under a bush. That was a heart breaker. Moved all over and ended up dragging shakeyheads around grass lines to cull up to what we weighed in . Ended up third with 14+lbs . Lance caught our biggest. Guess it was 6 and a half or so. Was a fun day until around 10am. Then the fish just shut down and it became miserably hot. Thanks again for all who came out ! Next years will be even bigger and better !
