Yeah when people fish only dries you can expect to catch 1/20th the fish on Diamond Fork than nymphs. The exception is all stone/ salmon fly hatches and when they're keying in on hoppers. That drainage takes forever for the fish to nail hoppers. Usually not until August.
Big prince nymphs (size 8-12) work 24/7 365 days a year on that stream. Really don't need to take any other fly along if you only care about the catching.
