Kayak sturgeon fishing
#7
With the right kayak, I am confident it would be as safe as idahoron's setup. And since he has caught numerous sturgeon from a toon, It seems like certain kayaks would be safe. The Hobies keep your hands free by pedalling, if you do need to steer, it can be quickly done by hand using the rudder, and there is little chance if any of the ProAngler tipping over. You also will have easy access to the sturgeon once you get it close to the kayak, It would be right at your side so you wouldn't have to lean over much to unhook it. For this type of fishing, I'd probably wear a PFD in case I get hit in the head by a jumping sturgeon.
