I got that, pretty cool that WE had a direct link to contact the powers that be concerning the RAC meetings but for Joe Shmoe fisherman wanting to express his concerns in fron t of real people an email to someone he/she has never met before has little meaning. I didn't dig real deep in to the situation but when I wanted to go to a RAC meeting they were too far away. If I had come across an email where I could express my concerns I would have done that, not knowing if a real person would have read it or not or if anybody would really care.
Granted, when I have contacted Drew he has always got back to me in a timely manner and I respect that but if a person wants to go to a meeting to voice his say but can't make it does he think "well, I sent an email so it's all good"?
Not trying to argue, just saying that it's weird that of all the fishermen and hunters, etc. that live in SLC and travel around the state to get away from the city when they can that they would not have a meeting in SLC. I'm sure a major population of Utah lives in SLC. Decisions are made in SLC but there isn't a meeting here? C'mon man.
I agree with everything you said. Plus "e-mail" request do get slid under a rug no matter how much sense they make. Dog-Lover's post has me thinking Hmmmmmmmm
