Nope.

I do have a decent communication with them once in a while. I know a couple of their employees by name. I stop in and visit a couple of times a year. We joked about the "Musky fishing fiasco" the last time I dropped by. We made arrangements for my son's Webelos Scouts to do a service project at the hatchery. I've called the poaching hot line sometimes. I email occasionally. I bump into a couple of guys around town. I've even been to a RAC meeting and a couple of open houses. I've talked with the UDWR / AG's Liaison on the phone a couple of times. I have 15 numbers in my contact list for the UDWR. Some of them are C.O.s, some are guys in offices. Most of them don't know me by name, but recognize me when they see me. When I see a C.O. in the field and get my license checked, I ask about the fishing. I ask about any regulation changes that are coming up. I ask about the plans for Scofield. I ask for, and have always received a business card from them. If they wanted to, I guess they could run and hide when I'm around. But they don't seem to mind when I show up. In short, I make an effort.

I'll admit that it's easy for me to get to the RAC meeting in Springville. Heck, I could walk to it if I wanted.

People make their own choices. Some people drive to the Energy Solutions Arena to see the NBA draft. Why?!?!? It's not like they're even playing a game that day. If it's important to ya, you'll be there.
