Frustrated fishing. Need rod/reel help

I wish! I have no idea though, there use to be in my creek 15 years ago, but they are all gone now probably due to pollution. I do see turtles in the lake.

I caught both fish using a Gary Yamamoto tiny ika; the silver one. I also picked up a eagle claw aberdeen size 4 that was labeled for pan fish and it made removal a breeze!
